Last Life Drawing Post of 2014
This a collection of sketches I drew during Life Drawing for Animation this past fall semester. Notes on pen types and the poses themselves are listed under each pic.
The top sketches were drawn with a brush pen and Tombo marker and were 15-minute poses for drapery practice. The model stood for 5 minutes sans clothes and then posed for an additional 10 in the same pose with clothing on. The rest of the page is 1-minute gesture drawings from Quickposes. They were drawn with a gray PITT artist pen.
1-minute gesture drawings from Quickposes. The group on the left was drawn with a Pigma brush pen, while the ones of the right were drawn with a gray PITT artist pen.
1-minute pose from Quickposes. I sketched in the pose with the side of a Tombo marker and then went back in with a Pigma brush pen for the finished linework.
The top group of 1-minute gesture drawings was drawn with an 08 Micron from the model. The bottom group of was drawn with a gray PITT artist pen from Pixelovely.
The clothed/unclothed poses in the upper-left were drawn from a model using a gray PITT artist pen. The three clothed poses in the upper-right were drawn from a different model using a Pentel pocket brush pen. The sketches at the bottom were drawn with a Daiso brush pen out of my head to fill the rest of the page.
This page was drawn from two different, clothed models. I used a Pigma brush pen for the gesture drawings on the left and the longer poses on the right.
