Okay, this brings back memories! This is a close-up of a painting I started a couple of years ago of St. Michael fighting demons. The pose is based off of a Spanish Renaissance painting-sorry I can't remember who the artist was-maybe Zurbaran? Anyway, this was done in acrylics over pencil on board.
